Oceans is a multidivisional organisation, with specialised expertise in a variety of areas. From Shark Research and conservation, to multimedia design and publishing, we're a fast growing organisation whose mission it is to increase awareness of our oceans and all life within them, ensuring their survivial for future generations.

So you've travelled several km to visit The Shark Lab Aquarium, but what else is there to do?

The Shark Lab Aquarium and Research Facility is presented by Oceans Aware, a division of the Oceans Initiative, and based in Mossel Bay, South Africa. Oceans Aware is dedicated to introducing the wonders of the marine world to children, the future ambassadors of our oceans. After more than 40 years of combined marine research experience, the directors of Oceans found there was an urgent need to introduce and facilitate a better understanding of the marine environment to future generations.
